TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA, U.S.A., 1990 JAN 16 (NB) --  Epson America
has introduced the LQ-1010, a new letter-quality, 24-pin, dot-
matrix printer targeted at the entry-level 136-column format
printer user.

The suggested price of the LQ-1010 is $699 and it has immediate
availability. The printer has a number of standard features
including print speeds of 180 characters per second (CPS) in
draft elite mode and 60 CPS in letter quality elite mode, Epson's
SmartPark paper handling feature set, 360 x 360 dots-per-inch
graphics resolution and a SelecType front control panel.
