BEREA, Ohio (UPI) -- Cleveland coach Bud Carson, who will be coaching the AFC in the Feb. 4 Pro Bowl, Thursday added Cleveland middle linebacker Mike Johnson to the AFC roster. ``When I was told that I was able to select a player, my first thought was Mike Johnson,'' Carson said. ``He'll help us tremendously calling defensive plays because he did it for us all year. Besides, he deserves to be there this season.'' Johnson, 27, made 133 tackles for the Browns this season and was voted as a first alternate for the Pro Bowl. ``I was pleased to be selected as a first alternate, but I'm even happier now that I'm going,'' Johnson said. ``All of my teammates really deserve to go, and it's an honor for me.'' Other Browns named earlier to the Pro Bowl were wide receiver Webster Slaughter, outside linebacker Clay Matthews, cornerback Frank Minnifield and defensive lineman Michael Dean Perry.
