Well, I have a direct connection into the NYSERNet from a MicroVAX II running VMS V4.6, PMDF V3.0, and Wollongong TCP/IP. The MicroVAX II supports two TCP/IP networks (Internet and the local one - there are two separate Ethernet). I am using the Wollongong nameserver and PMDF V3.0 MX support for Wollongong. With this in mind, in general, how do I setup the pmdf.cnf so that the domain addressing for local hosts stays in the from address after delivery to the Internet host is complete? Currently, mail from a local host has its domain address when the mail is delivered to the MicroVAX but not when the mail is delivered to the Internet host. Thanks for your consideration. I would have to look at your configuration to be sure, but I think local host aliases on the channels in question would be the proper approach. Ned
