I have stumbled on a way to hide addresses from a mailing list as I have wanted to do. By way of example from my ALIASES. I copy: test-l: test-l-forward test-list: test@bulletin,test-list-distribution test-list-distribution: <sys_anlroot:[mailing_lists]test-l.dis and in test-l.dis we find: GHC@NIHKLMB.BITNET SYSTEM@NIHKLMB.BITNET VMS mail forwards test-l-forward to test-list. This worked and I have installed it in a real list. I haven't tried to expand test to test@bulletin via an alias since I recall the problems in 3.0 with that. Besides, the direct resolution should be faster (?). I am presuming that I can add some more addresses to the test-list: line. I have not checked to see if the distribution list must be stated last.
