Well said, Dan. Your continued demonstration of honesty and your evident
integrity and rationality, to say nothing of some guts, are admirable.

Perhaps the worst of it is that the examples you've drawn attention to
are by no means isolated, either within COSUARD or within the wider
"BBS community" as a whole.

..Nancy, some of us DO write for money, and your work to express
thoughts and impressions helps that. The usual route it leads to is an
editor somewhere who will see a piece one day and rework it for
you...and the next thing you know, you're on your way! Be careful,it
could happen to you, and enjoy it when it does!

Maybe so, but foolish no. All I've done is make enemies. The point seems
to be lost. Getting what COSUARD wants will NOT be easy. I can safely
guess that what little disposable time Reggie has as a lawyer is all
being eaten up with the PUC case. Just look at the motions he's filed.
Were talking research and consultation big time. If that's happening, I
think the least the rest of us can do is play our little parts well.
Thanks for the kind words. For crying out loud, there's no reason to
choose and sides here, but like most organizations of more than three
people the are "in" groups and "out" groups in that the Houston portion
of COSUARD. I guess I'm fortunate that I'm not alone.

Not so! There are those of us who don't really know you that well and
are finding it hard to adjust to your direct nature. Personally, I
appreciate that, though, as offensive as it may seem at times, I am much
the same way. We do need to hear both sides of the fence and we also
need to be made aware of what the situation may look like from "the
other side." It may help some of us to throw in a little padding the
next time you drop the bomb. I am well aware of you expertise in the
area of telecommunications and am very glad to have any input you
wish to offer.

Indeed so! Allthough I feel that after this is over I will be
personally ready to take the bar exam, I think that the effort put
forth by Reggie at this point is virtually immeasurable. He definitely
deserves all the help we can give, no matter how meager it may seem.

Well, no matter how it may seem, like it or not, we are all in this
together by the simple virtue of owning a modem.

Thanks Don. I guess you could say I am a *frustrated* writer just
waiting to get out. But, I have no illusions of writhing that *new
author first novel* and actually making some money with it. The most I
hope to achieve is to get the message of what SWB is trying to do to the
sysops in Texas. If I succeed in that, I will be happy!!!!!!

Thanks for the kind words, Steve. Good also to see you post here. I
guess it wouldn't hurt to throw a little oil on the echo's water.
