NEW YORK (UPI) -- Brian Leetch scored 1:16 into overtime Sunday night to give the New York Rangers a 4-3 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers. After Kelly Kisio won a face off in the Flyers end, Leetch fired a slap shot from the right point over the shoulder of Flyers' goaltender Ken Wregget to help the Rangers complete a come-back victory and extend their unbeaten streak to three games (2-0-1). The Flyers are winless in their last seven (0-4-3). Trailing 3-1 entering the third period, Carey Wilson had helped the Rangers tie the score 3-3, scoring at 11:02 of the third period. It was the 1,000th home-ice victory for New York in franchise history. Wilson took a drop pass from Tomas Sandstrom and fired a shot from the top of the right faceoff circle over Wregget's glove. The Rangers led 1-0 after the first period on a power-play goal by John Ogrodnick at 17:40. Darren Turcotte fired a shot from the left point. Goaltender Ken Wregget made the pad save, but the puck trickled to Ogrodnick for an easy tap in. The Flyers best scoring chance in the opening period was penalty shot by Pelle Eklund. The shot was awarded when Ranger goalie Mike Richter threw his stick at the puck during a goalmouth scramble. Richter atoned by making an arm save on Eklund's shot at 14:34. The Flyers broke through against Richter with a pair of goals late in the second period to take a 2-1 lead. Dave Poulin converted a backhand pass from Craig Berube for the tying goal at 16:49. At 18:09, Murray Craven put in his own rebound for a power-play score and a 2-1 Flyer lead. The shot banked off the skate of Ranger defenseman Jeff Bloemberg. Philadelphia extended the lead to 3-1 on a power-play goal by Eklund at 6:26 of the third. Gord Murphy unloaded a shot from the right point and Eklund deflected the puck past Richter. New York answered back with a power-play goal by Brian Mullen at 8:25 to cut the Flyer lead to 3-2. Mullen sped down the left wing and drilled a shot between Wregget's pads.
