	WINNIPEG, Manitoba (UPI) -- Claude Loiselle had a goal and three
assists,  setting up the game-winning goal by Darin Kimble at 15:00 of
the third period, to help the Quebec Nordiques snap a 10-game (0-9-1)
road winless streak with an8-6 triumph over the Winnipeg Jets.
	The loss snapped the Jets eight-game (6-0-2) winning streak at
home.
	Stevin Finn, who'd just stepped out of the penalty box, scored the
insurance goal into the empty net with 13 seconds remaining.
	Goaltender Gregg Millen stopped 33 shots, 17 in the third period,
including the potential tying goal when Jets defenseman Dave Ellett
unleashed a booming shot with less than 30 seconds remaining.
	Michel Goulet, at 4:15, and Jeff Jackson, at 4:41, scored
third-period goals 26 seconds apart to give the Nordiques a 6-4 lead,
but the Jets struck for two quick goals of their own.
	Doug Smail, at 6:32, and Laurie Boschman, with his second goal of
the night, on the power play at 8:21, tied the score at 6-6.
	The Jets had tied the game at 4-4 on Laurie Boschman's goal 73
seconds into the third period. With goalie Greg Millen down on the far
side, Boschman's wrap-around shot from behind the net went into a
wide-open goal.
	Winnipeg jumped into a 2-0 first-period lead on goals by Pat
Elynuik, his 20th, and Mark Kumpel. Elynuik capped a dash along the
right side with a 20-foot shot past Greg Millen, with Winnipeg on the
power play at 3:30, and Kumpel stormed down the left side to jam a short
shot between Millen's glove and the post at 9:09.
	Tony McKegney stopped the Winnipeg splurge at 10:05 when he skated
through the low slot to take Guy LaFleur's perfect pass.
	Claude Loiselle tied the score 2-2 at 2:52 of the second period
after ascramble in front of Jets goalie Daniel Berthiaune. But at 4:25,
Paul Fenton restored Winnipeg's lead when he capped a two-on-none with
Boschman.
	Lafleur tied the score 3-3, at 14:11 of the second period, when he
walked in alone on Berthiame, faked a shot and beat the Jets goalie with
a soft 10-foot shot. It was Lafleur's 12th goal of the season.
	Brian Lawton gave Quebec its first lead, 4-3, at 19:15 of the
second period with the Nordiques' first power-play goal in four
attempts. Lawton completed a a three-on-one by tipping Michel Goulet's
pass into an empty Winnipeg net.
