LAS VEGAS, Nev. (UPI) -- The International Boxing Federation middleweight title fight between champion Michael Nunn and Marlon Starling will be held April 14, boxing officials announced Thursday. Bob Halloran, president of the corporate sports division of The Mirage Hotel-casino, said Nunn has recovered from a back injury and is ready to return to the ring. ``We're very happy to hear that Michael Nunn has fully recuperated form his ack injury andis ready to climb back into the ring,'' said Halloran. The title fight originally was scheduled for Jan. 27, but was postoned last December because of Nunn's injury. Nunn has a career record of 34-0 with 23 knockouts. Starling is the World Boxing Council Welterweight champion with a professional record of 45-5-1 and 27 knockouts. The IBF title bout is the second boxing event staged at The Mirage. The first fight was the ``Uno Mas'' bout between Sugar Ray Leonard and Roberto Duran on Dec. 7. The April 14 match will be held in a 4,600 seat indoor arena at The Mirage.
