OAKLAND, Calif. (UPI) -- Golden State rookie Sarunas Marciulionis scored 33 points, helping to offset the 49 points by Orlando's Terry Catledge, to boost the Warriors to a 138-127 victory Saturday night over the Magic. It was the reviving Warriors' sixth victory in a row and their tenth straight at home. Marciulionis, replacing injured Mitch Richmond at guard, hit 11 of 14 shots while Terry Teagle was scoring a team-high 36 points including 16 of 18 from the gift circle. Teagle has averaged 30 or more points in the Warriors' last nine games in the Oakland Coliseum. The Magic's Catledge hit 18 of 29 shots but was held to only nine points in the fourth quarter. Golden State built a 19-point lead, 93-74, in the third quarter but Orlando, behind Reggie Theus's 28-point output, cut the lead to 105-100 with 9:49 left in the game. Teagle then went to work and scored 16 points in the fourth quarter, which Golden State led throughout. Chris Mullin added 23 points for the Warriors. Orlando's Otis Smith added 14 points for Orlando. The Warriors sank 43 of 51 free throws. It was the second straight game missed by Richmond due to a strained back.
