SEATTLE (UPI) -- Prosecutors may decide by Friday whether to file charges of driving while intoxicated and reckless driving against Seattle SuperSonics guard Dale Ellis, injured in a car crash last week. Dan Donohoe, spokesman for the King County prosecutor's office, said a decision whether to charge Ellis would be made by the end of this week or early next week. Ellis, 29, suffered three cracked ribs and a collapsed lung in the one-car accident Friday. He was released from a Seattle hospital Tuesday. Ellis has missed two games since the crash and the Sonics placed him on the injured list Tuesday, meaning he will miss at least five more. But doctors have said he will be out of action at least six weeks because of his injuries. ``He's still got come pain, but he's coming along fine,'' Sonics spokesman Jim Rupp said. The loss of Ellis leaves Seattle with 11 players, but Rupp said no roster additions are planned immediately.
