If you are interested in hypermedia/multimedia or optical storage, you
should check out the following bibliographies. I recently wrote a paper
called "Intelligent Multimedia Computer Systems: Emerging Information
Resources in the Network Environment," and it would have been very
handy to have had the first work to assist me in that research:

Ching-chih Chen. HyperSource on MultiMedia/Hypermedia Technologies.
Chicago: American Library Association, 1989. 0-8389-7371-X.
     $27.50.

Ching-chih Chen. HyperSource on Optical Technologies. Chicago:
     American Library Association, 1989. 0-8389-7359-0.

What I particularly like about both books is that they cover a wide range
of computer literature in addition to library science literature. Highly
recommended.

I haven't had a chance to look it over yet, but another interesting
bibliography just crossed my desk:

Michael R. Gabriel. A Guide to the Literature of Electronic
Publishing: CD-ROM, Desktop Publishing, and Electronic Mail,
Books, and Journals. Greenwich, Conn.: JAI Press, 1989.
      1-55938-044-6.
