CGTAYLO@ERENJ.BITNET (Clement Taylor) (02/09/90)
Dear Colleagues, A user has complained to me that mail he receives from a node at UCSB is never recognized by our mailer as being mail. A lot of principals here correspond with other nodes at UCSB with no difficulty. Is there something I can do to our mailer to help. Note that I am using Mailer version 2.03B. I have the next release but never had incentive to install it. If that will solve the problem, I'll go ahead and put it up. <<Received: by ERENJ (Mailer R2.03B) id 4234; Wed, 07 Feb 90 12:47:46 EST <<Date: Wed, 07 Feb 90 12:46:32 EST <<From: Scott Milner <STMILNE@ERENJ> <<Subject: BITNET GLITCH <<To: Clem Taylor <cgtaylo@ERENJ> << << <<Clem -- I received the following file from xxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxx at <<UC Santa Barbara. It was directly delivered from ucsbuxa.ucsb.edu (aka UCSBUXA.BITNET). If they refuse to honor your reqeuest for mail delivery via your mailer there is nothing you can do about it.
