K. L. Cope writes that he has received offensive mail regarding his offer to distribute three tapes of Dr. Peitgen's lectures. Speaking for myself, and I am sure on behalf of most others on the list, I want to assure him that I also thought Mr. SpeedyD's note to be undelicate, and that I wish that this does not affect Dr. Cope's plans to distribute the tapes as he has indicated he is willing to do. The terms seem more than fair, and the amount of work it represents to send these materials to all the requestors is beyond the call of duty. I appreciate the effort, and I hope he is not dissuaded by one inconsiderate note.

I really don't understand why so many people are involved into the affair between Prof. Cope, and Mr. Speedy. First of all, Prof. Cope expressed how angry he was. Secondly, Mr. Speedy apologized to him in PUBLIC. That's fine. Everything should be OK now. In my viewpoint, Mr. Speedy was brave enough to admit his mistake. In fact, I don't know who doesn't make any mistake in his/her daily life. If so, he/she will be named as St. xxxx. In my country, my people expect we don't deny someone's idea, talk, ..., just because of what he had said, or did. To apply to this case, don't say a word any more please. As a matter of fact, it seems that several people on this list complained about how weak this list is; thus, they decided to unsubscribe. Ok! It seems that so many people are waiting for some idea from other people. On the other hand, if we got many new idea everyday, our name will be Genius no.5, but ... So from now on, don't criticize why there is always someone asks how to download a file. Now, I have a small suggestion, why don't we create some notes for those who are new here. It seems more positive. Let's back to our FRACTAL topic. Of course, I don't know why you guys join into this list, but why don't we share our idea. I mean, not only some serious theories applied to Physics, Mathematics, ..., but some other idea in our daily life. Don't suppose it is redicious. Maybe it becomes true in the future. SO --> Let this list become an idea turbulence yard. Let's do it now. Actually, we only need a little imagination. There is a talk about the audio problem. Maybe you guys can imagin what the world will be after we solve the mystery of the sound. Remember! This beautiful world needs our imagination to fulfill. Tein-Horng Yuan
