        The reason the A2286 board costs so much is because there is an AT
board on a board (hmmm).  All sources I have heard told me that the AT board
will run anything a '286 msdos machine will run, since it IS that machine.

        No.  If the developer decides to make programs that use LOTS of
graphics or sound at the same time, there is a problem, since it might use more
than 512K chip ram (it will happen with Ray Tracers and Animations).  It
otherwise will not be a problem.  Besides one can upgrade any time for a modest
price (?).  OS compatibility is 100%.
