Hi folks, I have an Amiga 2000 which was bought about two years ago. After being used for app. a month, the fan on the power supply made some horrific noises. Still being under warrenty, I figured I'd get a new power supply. As always, when trying to get something mechanical in nature fixed the blasted thing always works correctly when somebody else looks at it. I told him to keep it for a week, see if the problem showed up. Well they finally admitted that there was a problem and we ot a NEW & IMPROVED power supply. Great, I love it. Enter a week ago, the darn fan is going out again. A little TLC tap on the side will fix it though. My question is this, has anybody else had problem with the power supply fan going bad. Is there another power supply that is reputable for the 2000? Should I be concerned about this? Thanks in advance for the help. -Flynn

Yes... My amiga 2000 fan will start and stop itself periodically. I have never had a chance to look into what might be causing this. Additionally, I can occasionally hear the fan "change gears". Perhaps this is an undocumented feature? - Michael Ciri
