From reports I've heard, the Kickstart file on the Kickstart 1.4 disk (Jan. '90 alpha release) is 512K long, soooo it's a safe bet that the 1.4 ROM will be 512K also. (Must be real expensive to get 512K on one chip like that..) Re: Put entire AmigaDOS in ROM: Sure, no problem, providing WB1.4 comes out completely bug-free and with every feature we want.. otherwise, people who like to modify their DOS would be extreamly annoyed. (The Tandy clones are sold to people who don't know what they're doing.. otherwise, they wouldn't be buying from Tandy..) Re: Amax/Sound: Allegedly, the next revision of Amax will support Mac sound, along with Mac partition on Amiga harddrives.
