Although I often fail controlling my own tongue at times (especially on the basketball court), I would never dream of using foul language in the company of strangers or in print. Being raised a proper southern gentleman, I live by the maxim: Do not offend! At the risk of breaking that maxim, let me say that if Americans knew what the term "bugger" meant, as most Britishers do, they would not employ it so casually. In the past 24 hours, I have seen three other instances of foul language used on this list. Stay alert, folks! John Cromartie P.S. John, is "Britisher" correct, or have I succeeded in offending?
