I started a bible reqding plan last year on Jan 14 but it was difficult to follow so about 2 weeks later started the One Year Bible. It is great. I have now finished the entire bible (almost) in one year. It is amazing how much sticks with you. I don't find the problem you encountered. For one reason you stay in John untill you finish John. The only difference is that you read also Old Testament also along with psalms and proverbs. If somethings seems peculiar sometimes I will look ahaed to get the full context. I strongly suggest this reading plan. It takes discipline to get started but after about 3 months it becomes a part of your day. In His Love, Eric.
