What exactly would I be supporting if I go? >------- >Jim McIntosh (JIM@AUVM) Jim, I am not sure what upset you about the above. Pro-family just means that you support the family based system as a way of life. In other words the traditional family with a mother and father and kids. i didn't grow up in such a family but my wife and I are now creating one with God's help (our baby will be here any day). Many laws however seem to go against the pro-family concept. One in particular which has affected our lives is that we pay higher taxes being married than I would pay if I were a single man. This makes no sence since it now cost more as there is a new mwember of my household (wife). What they expect though is that both partners will work and bring in an income. But we have decided that my wife will not work outside the home. A decision which means that now my income will have to pay for me and my wife and also any children we have. At least there should be a deduction for a wife who doesn't work! The traditional family in America has really been destroyed by divorce and the high-cost of living. If anyone has any suggestion on how we can revive the America family I would be happy for the information. In His Love, Eric.
