Hello everybody. I just got on and read a few posts and wanted to say this to
everyone.
From the posts I've seen, something has been occuring on Christia that I
have seen every time I've been on it. Can anyone guess what this is? I'm sure
you can. Christia seems an airing ground for everyone's disagreements over
what constitutes "Christianity" and "Sin", etc.
Now, I realize that people aren't perfect and that disagreements will
naturally arise. But everyone on here agrees on most issues. These points of
agreement seem to often be ignored.
I have seen several Christian groups, organizations, commmunities, etc. and
all of them are comprised of members that include as their friends
some non-Christians. I'm sure this list is no exception.
So what I want to ask everyone is this: How can you ignore the differences
between you and your non-Christian friends, but not be able to ignore the
(much smaller) differences between you and your Christian friends here?
Christia has always been a disappointment to me. I've been on several
other Bitnet lists, and _none_ was as divided or conflictive as Christia. That
seems the exact opposite of the way it should be.
Well, this is what I wanted to say. You may, of course, simply ignore it,
but it is important to me.
