Like most universities, owning pets is against the Dormitory rules. Well, our Dorm, Bashford, has basically adopted two cats illegally (the Bashford Kitties) Well, I wouldn't be bringing this up, except for the fact, that the RLC had one of the kittens put to sleep over Christmas break, which upset the residents of the dorm slightly, but we had no room to complain (we had been forwarned what would happen if they found the cats inside the Dorm again.) Anyway, the other day, the black cat, the more popular of the two came in from a cat fight seriously hurt. Some of my friends tended it, fed it, and took care of it during its recovery, unfortunately it got worse than better so they took it to the vet. Now they have discovered that the cat has AIDS (or the kitty equivilent which is not viable in humans) but we are having this Psycho Kitty put to sleep before it dies of a painful slow death and has a chance to spread the disease. Unfortunately, the news is kinda a downer to the residents who have illegally taken care of and adopted this kitten. PDB
