I don't want to make a mountain out of a hoax - but you may be interested to know that a petition against the efforts of Mrs O'Hair was circulated in England; I think it was in 1988. I nearly fell for it and announced it one Lord's Day in our church, putting a petition form out for everyone to sign. Fortunately, our pastor got wind of its being a hoax from his son who is a C of E (Church of England) priest. We also have had requests for a petition against the making of a film purporting to show Jesus as a homosexual - this too, apparently, was a hoax. Have any of you come across this? Thanks for the postings, its good that we have an early warning system. It often seems that what bugs you one year reaches us the next, and can be very confusing! Let's all "stand firm in one spirit, contending for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose" us. (Philippians 1:27-28) Saved by His Grace, John Pickett
