Most of the messages I have read so far have been mildly surprising. I was
expecting some people on this list to flame me royally, I was expecting
people to violently tell me that I was going to hell (some people have
alluded to that, but in a kind manner.) I have to say, that for the most
part, I have been impressed with the responses made on this list. There
is, however, one response which epitimizes the type of Christian that I
have publically criticized:

First off, Mr I'm-a-christian-I'ma-judge, I don't care what you think
about my personal beliefs or convictions. It doesn't matter if you think
I am going to heaven or to hell, that's between me and God.

Secondly, Mr Holier-than-thou, I do not fabricate prayer request. We may
not see eye to eye on many things, but I take it as a personal insult when
you say that the prayer request that I have made over the past month are
fabricated! I've sent them to this list because I do believe in the power
of prayer and while I may not agree with you in particular, I KNOW there
are people on this list, both Christian and Non-Christian, who do know God
and whose prayers do matter. Kurt, do me a favor, don't read any of my
future prayer request, they are intended for people who do care. They are
intended for people filled with Love, not people who are filled with
hatred and scepticism.

Thirdly, Mr I-know-everything, you don't know everything. In fact, your
attitude is so full of hatred and self righteousness that it turns me ill!
I was extremely conservative a mere year and a half ago, but do you want
to know the single biggest reason why I am not now? Well, it's because of
closed minded &%$^#@ like you.

Finally, I apologize for the harsh words on this thing, but I just wanted
to let the rest of thils list know why I will no longer respond to Kurt.
While I disagree with a lot of what MAKS and Eric say, I can respect them
and their opinions, but Kurt on the other hand....

Let me start by saying that this is not a criticism of Paul, I would simply
like to use his posting to make my request,
In the future, if you have an angry retort or a hard message of criticism
of correction, could we send those posts to the inidividual privately.
If it was important to you to tell us why you will not respond to someone
elses msgs, simply tell us that you have decided not to respond to his/her
msgs for personal reasons.
Remember, christian or not, we are all in this world together.
Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called sons of God.
