Come on now Eric, I know that I was risking it by challenging MAKS condemnation of Hinduism and questioning some basic traditional Christian beliefs. But you have to admit, that neither Peter nor myself criticized or condemned or called X a liar. Kurt, however, did all of that---Had you included Kurt's name in there I probably would not have even brought that up, but Kurt was asking for some harsh words (especially from me when he publically called me a lair!) But I do agree, that it is time to put it in the past and forgive. On another, but similar subject. Some of you have questioned why I am "wearing a swastica in this jewish neighborhood." I'll try to be short on this, but here's why: 1) I don't like closed-mindedness, if you've noticed, I only sent in prayer request until the Hindu issue arouse. 2) I don't like people condemning others. 3) I do like to challenge people in their beliefs. You can't grow unless you are challenged. 4) I am in a never ending search for truth. I don't believe that Christianity has a monopoly on it, but I am willing to give it a chance- but I will not sit back and blindly accept everything any of you tell me as gospel. I will challenge it, and when I challenge it, it'll probably be a fairly strong challenge because I used to believe (and be as vocal as Kurt and Eric) everything they do. But I've been disillusioned by people proclaiming that they know the truth and condemning others as a result. I truly believe that if there were more CHristians in this world like Bernice, keg, and I could probably include Eric here, I do believe that Christianity would have conquored all other religions. Unfortunately, there are enough black sheep in Christianity that turn people, like me, against the institutionalized form of Christianity....
