If, which *I* believe, Hinduism is a false religion then it can only lead
to ultimate destruction - it doesn't warn its adherents to flee from the
wrath to come - it gives them a false hope of another chance on the next
round of reincarnation. But what if their adherents find themselves standing
before the judgment seat of Christ at the next reincarnation (day of
resurrection)? That religion would then prove to be entirely "negative."

Sure many Hindus are 'nice' people - 'wouldn't hurt a fly' types - but what's
the good of being nice guys if salvation requires believing on the Lord
Jesus Christ as taught in the Bible?

Yes, I wish you could too, so I pray to the Lord Jesus Christ that you will
some day - soon!

1) Nothing! I have read on other religions - not merely accounts by people
converted from, say, hinduism. I can see how hopeless and useless are
   religions other than true Christianity.

2) A lot! Lest I be led astray by the error of the wicked. So in reading
about other religions I must must pray that God will give me discernment
between right and wrong: between truth and error.

>>And what's more - we have the witness of

>And how do you know that other religions don't have the Holy Spirit in

Because of the witness of the Holy Spirit Himself who has been given to
every true believer (John 14:17,26; 15:26; 16:13)

>How do you know that Satan didn't infiltrate the ecclesastical ranks a

>were really bad...."

Oh, but he did! Not just 1000 years ago! Read the epistles and how they
warn about being led astray after false gospels.

"But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall
be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies,
even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift
 destruction.
"And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way
of truth shall be evil spoken of.
"And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise
of you; whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their
damnation slumbereth not." (2 Peter 2;1-3)

Yours in Christ Jesus,
