Chrissy Epperson has a new kidney as of 2am CST Sunday morning! She is doing very well and the kidney started functioning as soon as it was in place (as opposed to several weeks it can take!). She is not nearly as ill from the anesthetic as she was last summer after her hip surgery. Thank you all for your prayers!!!!! Now if her body will accept the kidney permanently she'll be on to a new life and freedom. Praise God! I would also like to note that the kidney that didn't work out last Monday turned out to be a blessing because they all felt better prepared Saturday morning when they went in again for the cross match tests on this one. You have to trust God, He always knows what he's doing! Love, Elizabeth
