I am sorry for the times I may have shown some anger.
From now on, I will try to lean towards the approach of the Evangelist, and
not that of an Apostle. Am I bragging. No. We are all sinners, and I am
nothing in myself, but "I am the righteousness of God In Christ".
My chief concern has been for those new on the list. At times I may not have
been as kind as I could have been, but I will pray that I can be even more so
in the future.
I have asked a friend of mine about the "beating of the dogs", the
"untouchables", and the like. He works for me, and his name is Atul Jain. He
was born and raised in India. I was the one who did the justification to hire
him. Him and I talked a great length about his marriage. His marriage was
arranged, and he only met his wife 2 hours before they married. I told him
about the Lord bringing Linda to me, and he felt that my marriage was also
arranged. We talked at great length about dedication to spouse and the family.
We both agree that few have this quality anymore. I hope to have him over
someday for supper. It will have to be meatless.
The point? I think Atul is Hindu. Him and I have worked side by side. I
believe he holds me in the highest respect. I think I have failed to show that
same respect to Peter from time to time.
I will use in my arguments for the most part, the Word of God. If I can't take
God's Word, then I am wasting my time as a Christian.
As an example:
"Beloved, my whole concern was to write to you in regard to our common
salvation. (But) I found it necessary and was impelled to write to you and
urgently appeal to and exhort (you) to contend for the faith which was once
for all handed down to the saints - the faith (which is that sum of Christian
belief) which was delivered verbally to the holy people of God.
"For certain have crept in stealthily - gaining entrance by a side (door).
Their doom was predicted long ago, (impious, profane) ungodly persons who
pervert the grace (the spiritual blessing and favor) of our God into
lawlessness and wantonness and immorality, and disown and deny our sole Master
and Lord, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One." (Jude 3,4 Amplified.)
I think this says it all, and being the Word of God, Jude was writing this to
me as well, and I have to judge myself accordingly.
