Did anyone see the children that were severely hurt by bombs on tv the other
night? One little boy was crying so painfully. His eyes had been blown out.
Another little boy had his leg blown off. I can't even remember where it
happened. They had been playing and ran upon a land mine. I know I need to
make myself more aware. I know I prayed at the time but more prayer is needed
to be said by the whole world. Can anybody tell me where these hideous things
are happening and alittle about the reason for it? I have not felt too good
since.
I am ashamed that I have been selfish in thinking that I have had a rough
life. I can not imagine living in a war torn nation. I know I remember when I
was a little girl I was afraid of planes flying over. I must have seen a movie
about war and I was afraid that the planes had bombs. It was a horrible fear
and I have not forgotten it.. It is real for some parts of the world. We thi
nk it is rough if the electricity is off. Some people don't have food to cook.
If our shoes are worn and payday is a short one,we get ticked yet some people
don't have work or shoes. Either that same night (that I saw the children) or
the previous one, I saw designer dress being sold for $100,000.!!!! How many
childred and poor people could benefit from the cost of one dress.
Please pray for me that I learn to count my blessings and be less selfish
and start caring and praying for less fortunate brothers and sisters.
