[bit.listserv.games-l] More on Nethack 3.0 for MSDOS

I have to grovel and beg forgiveness for my comments on Nethack 3.0 being
too slow under MSDOS (using the overlayed version).  If I run under version
3.3 of DOS and leave out all of my network software and 3270 software,
it works great.  For those of you who have had trouble, just ditch all
of your TSRs, and you should really enjoy the game.  My complements to the
programmers!

...and for those of you who STILL can't find the MSDOS Nethack 3.0 executables,
here is the procedure one more time:

    Make this memo:

        OPEN lampwick.berkeley.edu
        CD /pub
        BINARY
        GET nh30exe.zip
        GET nh30sup.zip
        GET README

    Send it to <BITFTP@PUCC>

...of course, if you have FTP access, just go grab it from lampwick :-)
