I haven't gotten as far as you have, but a friend of mine has. First, he had trouble with the trolls and ogres too. He had to do it 4 times. (Save your game every time you win a battle and keep a back-up of the previous battle too!) Here is what I suggest: If you can, try to arrange to have a long space between you and the trolls. Then, when it is your turn, use your full turn to take as many steps as you can backwards (hopefully 9 squares). Afterwards, you *still* can shoot arrows as it, so do that. Hopefully you will be able to have several rounds where you fight them and they cant fight back. Keep doing this until you run out of room. Of course, try to get every character some form of missle weapon. Also, it probably won't work, but try to charm one of the creatures. Remember that trolls regenerate, so try to throw oil at it too. Not much damage, but they won't regenerate it. Undead patrols: You can get them to join the fight only if you have an EVIL cleric who successfully charms them! (I think) That's it.
