Don't go in the water. Boots/cloak/spell of levitation will allow you to pass over it harmlessly, as will the potion/spell of breathing, or (my favorite) powered armor, which is effectively a breathing spell wrapped up in good armor. That's a high-level item, tho, so I'd stick to trying to find the potion. Hint: DON'T ENTER WATER WHILE WEARING HEAVY ARMOR!!!!! :) Eric fsejo@alaska.bitnet
