I think that I can safely say that the files for Omega on the server at MIBSRV.MIB.ENG.UA.EDU (130.160.20.80) have been fixed. The files can no longer be replaced by anyone FTPing with a PUT command (which I think was the problem in the first place). Anyway, two people from different locations have sent me mail stating that they have been able to successfully request *and* unZIP the OMEG_EXE.ZIP file as well as the other files via BITFTP. Any questions/comments/flames can be sent directly to me. IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE FILES, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Also, there is a directory of anti-virus files located there for ppl who have IBM (PCs) or clones. These are located in the directory pub/ibm-antivirus. This site is already know by the people at VIRUS-L, so please *DON'T* forward this message to the list. ---------- James Ford - JFORD1@UA1VM.BITNET, JFORD@MIBSRV.MIB.ENG.UA.EDU University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
