I'm sorry to place this on the list. I would have sent personal mail, but my mailer took a dump and I had to delete ALL of my saved messages :-(. Anyhoo, to the person who posted to the LIST about how to subscribe to the LIST. I see this all the time. First, if a person had a question/problem with how to subscribe to the list, chances are he isn't a MEMBER of the list, and therefore, will NOT get your mail message about how to SUBSCRIBE to the list if you SEND it to the list. (iow: send him personal mail, cuz he won't get it any other way!) Second, make sure you give him the correct information. The last message advised him to send a mail message to GAMES-L@BROWNVM with the message SUBSCRIBE GAMES-L yourfullname. Obviously this is incorrect, you don't send to the list, you send to the LISTSERV! I don't mean to flame or anything, I'm just having a bad day and it is annoying to see messages like that. Bel.
