"Chariots for Apollo: The Making of the Lunar Module" by Charles R. Pellegrino and Joshua Stoff. Atheneum, N.Y. 1985 ISBN 0-689-11559-8 A must read, in my opinion. I can't think of a way to summarize it which will do it justice. I only wish it had been twice as long, with even more of its fascinating stories, tidbits, and perspectives on the Apollo project. -------
