This is what our local SAS rep found out about vectorized IML. Sounds promising. -walt ----------------------------Original message---------------------------- SAS called. In the version 6.06 IML some of the numeric operators have been vectorized -- 1) matrix multipliers and 2) some inversion routines. Donna Woodward answered this question and she said that the developer that she spoke with said that in future versions almost all of the numeric operators will be vectorized with "possibly" the exception of some of the shape routines. The latest word from Donna as to when 6.06 will be shipped, end of March or early April. She got that info from some online SAS calendar.
