I know a few SAS-lers are interested in the PROC SYNCSORT
and SAS not supporting user-written procs right away situation
I've been dealing with. SYNCSORT just called me, expressing
regret that they do not have an answer for me just now, that
this is all news to them, and when they have an official
position on how they will handle this, they'll let me know.
It took me awhile to get them to understand what was happening,
and I'm sure they will put pressure on SAS like all the others
who are inconvenienced by this. I'll keep the list posted.
