LeRoy Bessler presented a paper at SUGI 13 which compared  a
GDDM  driver  for  the IBM *3820* printer with a third-party
alternative (Plot3820, from Image Research  Corp.  of  Santa
Barbara  CA).   He  found  Plot3820  to be considerably more
economical.
