I sent a description of an AF/FSP application I built here, asking for information on how to speed it up. Ted Bandy, Gary Katsanis, and Paul Darius (maybe a couple of others, too) all said the same thing: in 5.18 it's slow no matter what you do. Those who've done such stuff in 6.03 say it's much improved; so on the mainframe, I wait for 6.06 with its compiled data steps, and SCL. So I wait.... --Nelson R.
