In Claire's defense, I'd say the reading the manual doesn't particularly
help. SAS sometimes decides, in ways that the manuals don't describe and
the consultants don't know about, to angle titles in a particular way,
depending on the length, size, and font of the text. In addition, the
manuals don't give very many examples of changing labels, and those examples
aren't always clear, especially on the interaction between rotate= and
angle=. I too would like a clear concise infallible answer to her question,
and I've read the fine manuals.
