Lately there has been some traffic concerning the speed of sas/graph on device=hpljs2 . A while back i had quized si about it and the fix they prescribed (which i passed on to my user whom i've'nt heard from since) was:- include gsflen=4096 in thy goptions and change the device driver to device=hplj0 or hplj5p2. they also faxed some info to me about exporting cgm files to other applications. i have since put that fax in SCRIPT format (yes good old script ...) and can post it on sas-l if there is sufficient interest. of course one need to take precations like using ems and putting enough memory on the laser jet printer ... could some one benchmark this fix for us? i would, but i've no laser printer.
