Does anyone understand AppleTalk Phase II well enough to know what the impact of the Mac VAP not being Phase II complient is? For example, we do not use the Novell server as a bridge. The Novell server resides on our EtherNet and we access it from local talk via a Cayman Systems Gator box. Cayman has promised the Phase II code early this year. We will also have Apple Internet Routers in place in a few weeks. Will we be able to access the Netware server from a local talk segement conntected to the EtherNet via the Apple Internet Router? The Apple Internet Router is of course a Phase II device. I understand that having a Phase I device as a bridge would be trouble. But as an Apple Filing Protocol server on the ethernet segement, will the Netware server with the Mac Vap work? =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Lawrence H.
