Hi, all... Are any Network Courier users experiencing a problem where Courier does not delete mail items? I am not sure at this point if the problem is in Network Courier Mail, Monitor, or Admin programs, but an NDIR of the mail directory definitely shows mail items over 30 days old after I used Admin to delete these mail items. Anybody know what's going on? Phil Haskett South Dakota State University

A question was asked concerning whether Network Courier had a problem with deleting mail items. Version 1.x DID have a problem with this and Consumers Software released a utility (upon request) that cleaned things up. As far as I know, version 2.0c does not; if it does, I don't believe that Chris Mah and crew have finished the re-write of the utility (used to scan the mail files and databases for integrity). I believe the problem (as they attributed it) may have been due the use of the Admin program to delete mail (in mass) while users were on the system at the same time.
