(1) Does any novellander know of an automatic banner for Postcript page
printers? (Put a banner file in a batch file that executes when you
give the Capture command is a solution, I guess).
How do you deal with distribution in a high-volume multi-user environment
(Printer is serially connected).
(2) What about the regular banner, I would like to modify it so that
it would not go to the 80th column to print lonely asterisks. Have
you done it? If not, do you know if I need to modify the program or a
data file? Which program, Capture.exe or what? Reason: to gain some time
by printing only the user's name and the time.
(3) For our non page printers, one of us is looking for an
"intelligent" printer that can "burster" the continuous-paper exactly
between two jobs (not bursting all pages). I've never heard of such a
product and in fact, is there a burster that fits behind a printer and
can rip all pages at the same rythm that they come out of the printer?
