Hello, Has anyone seen software that will allow a user to enter some sort username or ID that will print on a NetWare banner page? We have started to use NetWare for public networks where laser printing will be available. We charge on a per page basis for laser printing and need to distinguish between multiple users who all use the LOGIN_NAME of GUEST. What would be nice is some sort of small routine that can be run when a user boots up their machine so that they can enter their name before they forget later on and that also counts pages printed. More information: We are using Advanced NetWare v2.15 on a 286-based server which will serve several 8086 and 80286 PCs. The laser printer (Hewlett-Packard LaserJet+) is on a separate floor from the NetWare network so that we can have some control over handing out printouts. Please send replies to: PZOCCO@EAGLE.WESLEYAN.EDU or PZOCCO@WESLEYAN.BITNET . Thank you. Paul Zocco Microcomputing Specialist, Wesleyan University

Reply of other Page Banners than "guest", on the same login name in Netware. Some programs like the Network version of WordPerfect 5.0 put the "WordPerfect" login characters on the Netware Banner Page. When you start WordPerfect netversion you need to give 3 letters/ characters whick will be printed on the Netware Banner. Maybe there are some others program that perform the same. I suppose those programs need not to use the capture command, instead those programs should direct the printout directly to a print queue. Urban Sundstrom, urbans@admin.kth.se
