We have it installed on a network here. The installation instructions were a bit confusing but not insurmountable. When you buy it, you specify how many users will be using it simultaneously. For each user, Borland sends you a serial number which gets put into an authorization database. Paradox handles its own access, and won't allow more users that you have authorizations for. Adding more users is easy: Borland sends you more serial numbers and you plug them into the database. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rick Beebe (203) 785-4566 ***** ***** ***** * * Biomedical Computing Unit * * * ** * Yale University School of Medicine * * *** * * * 333 Cedar Street, New Haven, CT 06514 * * * * ** * * * * * BEEBE@YALEMED.BITNET beebe%biomed.decnet@venus.ycc.yale.edu -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

One of our professors asked that we put Paradox on the network for him. There is a network version, which seems to be running fine on our Netware 2.15, though we just use it for teaching a class, and don't store the student db files on the network.
