Acc'd. to a new publication from Novell, "NetWare Buyer's Guide" dated Sept. 1989, on pg. 3-76 (and I quote): "Driver software for the following adapters is included with NetWare for Macintosh: NL1000 NE2000 3Com EtherLink+ (3C505) NE/2 NL/2 3Com EtherLink/MC (3C523)" Now, my copy of the Mac VAPS (v 1.1) included the drivers for all of the above EXCEPT the NL/2 (and has anyone really seen THAT card yet?) and the 3C523. We have several depts. on campus that have 3C523 adapters in their servers that want to tie their Macs in (they also have Fastpaths). Has anyone actually got drivers for the 3C523 that support the Mac VAP? Does anyone know if they're coming (any time soon)? What's a Micro Channel to do......?
