My apologies if this has been discussed before, but I would appreciate
some help with a minor problem. When I generated our network the COM1
port on the file server was not being used. Now I have connected a
piece of equipment to the COM1 port and the system doesn't seem to recognize
it. We're running Advanced NetWare 286, version 2.15A on an IBM PS/2
model 80. I've recently added a Para Systems UPS and their Network
Manager software, which sends data through the COM1 port.
How do I activate the COM1 port on the server?
