> I am looking for sources of information on SPX/IPX protocols > (Sequenced Packet Exchange = SPX)(Internetwork Packet Exchange > = IPX). I have found some good information in the NetWare > Technical Journals but thus far have not been successful > elsewhere. If you have any technical information on IPX/SPX > please let me know where I can find it. One of the best places to read about is in the manual "Netware System Interface Technical Overview" which I got with the Novell C Interface Library. Contact Novell Development Products Division at 1-800-RED-WORD for more information. You can buy this library mail order from various sources (Programmers Paradise, Programmer's Shop, etc)... check your magazines. Glenn Scott UCLA Honors and Undergraduate Programs / Info Services

Volume 2 of Novell's API Reference describes programming levels of the protocols as well as the formats of the packets. It also references the document. "Internet Transport Protocols" Xerox Corporation Xerox System Integration Standard Stamford Conn. Dec. 1981 XSIS-018112 I would imaging that just about any info on XNS would give you a lot of insite into IPX/SPX. ======================================================================= Pete Hickey | Convention says that something funny University of Ottawa | goes here.
