[bit.listserv.novell] Using Printdef and Printcon

We are not having much luck using print job configurations using the print modes
    and functions under PRINTDEF with Novell 2.15.  All our print job options
seem to work except the mode.  For instance, we cannot get our HP LaserJet
to print in Landscape mode using the Sideways or Lotus Spread Sheet modes which
   come predefined with Novell.  They seem to have the proper escape sequences i
   n the function table.  If we print a Lotus spreadsheet in landscape orientati
   on
by entering the escape codes within Lotus it works just fine.  But then we are
unabel to reset the printer by sending it a print job using the Re-initialize
mode.  Could someone fill me in on what we are doing wrong?  Thanks.
