I am looking for information anyone can offer about a good tape system that can back up a variety of platforms. The ideal machine would backup Novell servers (286 & 386, both PC and Mac files), MS-DOS workstations and Macintosh workstations and probably have a SCSI interface. If such a beast doesn't exist, what is the best tape system around? The following criteria are important: Are Macintosh files backed up? What type of workstation is required (XT, AT, etc)? Can the drive be adapted for use with Netware 386 (by running a NLM) Is unattended backup possible If you can include addresses and phone numbers for the company that would be great. Finally, if anyone has advice about Tallgrass, Irwin, Maynard, Mountain, Emerald, and Gigatrend I would like to here from you. Thanks very much. -- ******************************* * Paul Nazario * * Novell@Ukanvax * * Novell@kuhub.cc.ukans.edu * * * *******************************
